NATIONAL BRANDS | BAKERS BISCUITS | PROVITA
The agency was briefed to upgrade the existing brand Provita. A new fresher appeal was required to capture a younger more health conscious market.
Provita's long standing and traditional style of design meant that careful consideration and minimal but effective design changes were key to keep within the brands recognised position on shelf. The matt uncoated paper gave the wholewheat crisp bread the desired texture for a natural and wholesome look and was to be kept for product familiarity. Structure of the design elements gave the packs the feeling of a new and exciting product on shelf.
The pack's many gradients and vignette's meant that careful planning was going to be needed in order to achieve the designer's ideas. With a limited colour palette and press specifications, there was a minimum of 6 colours on offer. Black was to be replaced by Pantone dark brown 467 U and the background made up of two Pantone spot colours for consistent non-variable colour. The end result was a well thought-out design and execution of a technically challenging printed product.
